I think something I didn’t expect was how much Danes liked alcohol. There’s a few little bars where I live and I think every time I’ve walked past them at night they’ve been busy. CBS also has this really cool thing called Nexus where they serve coffee and tea I think in the mornings but then on Thursday nights they bring in a DJ and it turns into a completely different thing. I have no idea how they clean everything up because usually by the end of the night there’s cups and drinks that have been spilled on the floor but every time I’ve had an 8 am class the floors are spotless so shout out to the cleaning staff for doing such a great job with that.
Something else I guess that’s pretty important is me finishing my introductory MIS course. My work is due soon and I’m kinda freaking out about it. It’s really nice because I get to talk to people around me about coding and they’re really interested in what I’m doing since a lot of exchange students are also doing coding. But yeah that’s pretty stressful. I’m thankful that I don’t have many exams to worry about because a lot of other people have like three or even four exams that they need to prepare for.
CBS Exams can be TOUGH so people generally take a while to prepare for them, especially the in person sit in exams. I know there are other exams like an oral exam and take home exams (which are what I have) and I’ve heard that oral exams aren’t as difficult as people would expect. I’m thankful that my classes don’t have a lot of group work because I’ve heard that in some classes the group work is really difficult and a lot of people don’t show up or help. Also, I actually got to meet someone from my class, and someone else from my dorm is in the same class so we actually have a small study group going! It’s really helpful because I would without a doubt get distracted. But because I have people near me that are working it makes me want to work. Anyway, I have to prep for my exam which is pretty intense so I’m going to cut this short.
(Rather than show you the extremely exciting pictures of me studying for my exams, I'll show things that make me much happier: dogs and sunlight).

A Golden Retriever patiently waiting outside the grocery store! 11/10 waiting skills.

A beautiful Copenhagen afternoon (around 1:30 pm).
