Finally my code is done. It’s completely my fault that my code isn’t done but I’m so thankful that I am finally through with it. To be honest, I am really thankful that I went through all of this with MIS because I have such a deep appreciation for the work it takes to run something like a website and the technical background necessary for a job in computer science. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely knew it would be hard. But having that first hand experience of building the simplest applications was so valuable. And now I can brag to all my friends on exchange that I built a small website. I actually showed it off to my roommate before I submitted it and he was much more impressed than I thought he would be. He definitely humored me but I also showed him the background of all the code that went into building the website so I think that was pretty impressive. Through all the iterations my code underwent I think I must have written over 2,000 lines of code. Also, sidenote, in Europe it’s pretty interesting, they swap the use of the “.” (period) and the “,” (comma). So 2,000 in the US would be 2.000 in Europe. Pretty interesting. Anyway I’m very proud of myself even though it was my fault my code wasn’t done but I can finally get out and start doing more things. I feel like I’ve wasted way too much time procrastinating on my code but now that it’s all over I can go out and explore more of Copenhagen, and hopefully the rest of Europe. When I have traveled I’ve always had a good experience so I’m very excited. This one will be kinda short I guess since I’ve just been inside my room hunched over my computer. Oh but I did reward myself for finishing my code with a visit to this sushi place that’s near my dorm. It’s called Original Sushi and I recommend it if you have about $30 USD burning a hole in your pocket and would like to gorge yourself on all you can eat sushi in Copenhagen. It’s a bit expensive and the food takes a bit of time to arrive but it’s totally worth it. Well for me it is. My expectations are quite low so I’m not sure if everyone will enjoy it. I think that’s one thing I wish I did more: go out and eat. I’m really bad at finding places to eat but thankfully Original Sushi is maybe 500 meters from my dorm so it would be kind of impossible not to see it. I know there are some great places to eat but I’m scared to go and look at the prices or have something that I don’t completely enjoy. That’s definitely the reason I don’t want to go out and experiment with different foods because I’m not sure if I’ll like it. Really crazy given that I’ve generally enjoyed everything I’ve eaten when I’ve eaten at a restaurant and my standards aren’t very high. I guess that sounds bad. My standards aren’t low, I think I just like trying new things and generally my palate isn’t advanced enough to identify different flavors so I just enjoy what I eat. That doesn’t sound much better. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed eating sushi and having to wrap some up in a paper towel so that I didn’t get charged for not finishing everything.

I already posted a picture of sushi I had previously, so I want to show off some other food I rewarded myself with.

Belgian waffle with white chocolate flakes. I hated myself but I got two of these. Also, no, the waffle did not come with that nice bite mark in it. I got too excited and forgot to feed my camera before my face.

Fish and chips! I found out people call potato chips "crisps" and I would officially like to steal that. Credit where credit is due, thank you Europeans for that new vocabulary word.

I'm terrible at taking pictures but fortunately these ribs were absolutely amazing. They were a bit expensive but when I say they fell off the bone, I mean they full just melted off. I guess I know what I'm having for dinner tonight (again).
